Apart from a cloud solution, DaDesktop can provide you with access to bare metal physical Desktops or Servers.

This is for one physical machine per participant scenarios and has been used in following use cases, where participants need access to:

  1. the whole server without virtualization for performance or license reasons (ONAP, OpenStack)
  2. devices which cannot be virtualized (some GPUs, Mellanox cards where firmware related changes are a subject of the course, other network equipment, etc...)

Also, this solution can be used with existing physical classroom with minimal modifications. This allows the trainer to prepare the classroom without the need of physically being there.

Cloud Desktop used in cloud can be directly used and deployed to participants' physical machines.

Requirement for onsite deployment

This solution requires purchase of physical control cables (called ddkvm cable) with cost around 100USD each for each Desktop.
